Outside Sales Person Needed In Western Canada

Some of the responsibilities and requirements are as follows:


  • Cultivate leads; seek out new business opportunities by developing a referral
    network that can generate leads
  • Seek involvement related organizations to develop leads
  • Follow up on all leads and referrals resulting from field activity or from in-bound leads
  • Determine type and quality of products that will best match customer’s needs
  • Demonstrates an expert level knowledge about all equipment functions and features to generate sales
  • Establish and maintain both current and potential customer relationships
  • Maintain customer  database
  • Prepare weekly call sheet documenting, weekly mileage, business contacts, and sales accomplishments
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Hands on concrete surface prep experience (huge plus)
  • Knowledge of shot blasting (huge plus)
  • Technical in nature
  • Goal oriented with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience in a competitive sales environment, preferably in the equipment manufacturing industry
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work well with minimal supervision
  • Ability to accurately maintain accounting of sales, goals and time accountabilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
  • Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients, so the possession of a valid state drivers license, current auto-insurance and a reliable vehicle is required
