Outside Sales Person Needed In Western Canada

Some of the responsibilities and requirements are as follows:
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate leads; seek out new business opportunities by developing a referral
network that can generate leads - Seek involvement related organizations to develop leads
- Follow up on all leads and referrals resulting from field activity or from in-bound leads
- Determine type and quality of products that will best match customer’s needs
- Demonstrates an expert level knowledge about all equipment functions and features to generate sales
- Establish and maintain both current and potential customer relationships
- Maintain customer database
- Prepare weekly call sheet documenting, weekly mileage, business contacts, and sales accomplishments
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Hands on concrete surface prep experience (huge plus)
- Knowledge of shot blasting (huge plus)
- Technical in nature
- Goal oriented with an entrepreneurial attitude
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience in a competitive sales environment, preferably in the equipment manufacturing industry
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work well with minimal supervision
- Ability to accurately maintain accounting of sales, goals and time accountabilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
- Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients, so the possession of a valid state drivers license, current auto-insurance and a reliable vehicle is required
